What is 3-D Laminate?
3-D laminate is a vinyl film that is applied to a substrate with heat and pressure, also known as thermo foil.
What is the difference between high pressure laminate and 3-D laminate (thermo foil)?
3-D laminate (thermo foil) is widely used by closet organizing companies and also by assemble-it-yourself home products. An effective solution for lower cost applications. You should expect to pay 20%-25% less than high pressure laminates.
High pressure laminate is made of three resin saturated layers:
* Base layer
* Colored layer (the layer the grain or design is embedded in)
* Protective transparent layer
